      For those of you that use the M25 on a regular basis. The speed cameras are as of last Wednesday permanently live. They use to be active when the speed limit was reduced but I’ve been told that this has changed, hope this helps.

        There is currently misinformation going around regarding the M1 and M25 smart motorway speed cameras. Some of the misinformation was they were all going live at midnight on the same day and that anyone going over 72 mph would be fined and given six points on their licence.           Good good. I was told 77mph and over you’d be done automatically, regardless if the gantrie was on or not, or the camera would go off at 72 but you wouldn’t be prosecuted. Either way I shall be sticking the speed limiter on.
