Insurance quote

I decided to ask for a quote from Heritage Insurance.

They decided not to quote, as their insurers wanted to deal with more modified vehicles and second vehicles!

Great company to deal with but they do deal with specialist vehicles/classics etc. Not competitive with daily drivers. Had they have quoted you would probably have fainted!

They quoted me £1400 a year. That’s with a clean license and 5000 miles annual mileage.

Although living on Hayling Island Probably didn’t help.

I’m not sure how many boxes you have to tick for them to be competitive, but I’m on £158 a year, fully comp, all mods declared although I’m restricted to 3000 miles a year. I have to admit I was partly lured to switch via the offer of the free tracker

Heritage wouldn’t insure me at all as my vehicle is on the road and not a driveway or garage. Insurance is such a lottery . I went with A-plan in the end for £160 fully comp with business use.
