Hi from HR324 – Roy Booth

Hi everyone.

This is a bit like first day at secondary school. Everything is new and you’ll probably find me wandering the corridors looking lost. I’m 59, currently a software engineer working on Air Traffic Control software. I spent my early years as an Electronic Technician in the RAF. I have recently bought a FL2 which is the second 4×4 I’ve owned, the first being a Trooper in the early 90s. I also own a Caterham 7 which I built from a kit 20 years ago. I’m a volunteer steward at Brooklands Museum and a British Legion standard bearer. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in as a Responder. Thanks to Axel and all the admins involved in getting me up and running so quickly.

Hi Steve. Unlike you I’m still hard at it. I’m sure I’ll be back on the M27 before too long. Just hope they’ve finished the road works (two hopes, Bob Hope and No Hope)

@PhilMartin Thanks for sending out my ID Card and stickers. I’m all stickered up and ready to go when there’s a task needs doing and I’m available, which is usually evenings and weekends. As soon as I get the DBS e-mail I’ll sort that out.
