          PSA – keep the receipt if you want them to honour the warranty! They used to replace broken bits no questions but these days they demand the receipt.

            I will keep the receipt, but asked in the branch if they would need a receipt if one of the sokets broke in a few years time, the reply was that they like a receipt but if I cannot find it the tools have Halfords written on them so it is evident where they were bought. Halfords seem to have a problem with consistency between branches.
