Finally joined up – another Basingstokian

Having been without a suitable (functioning) vehicle for a while I’ve finally solved that so thought it was about time to sign up.

A few may know me from Shire Land Rover Club, which I’m currently vice-chairman of for my sins.

Anyway, my fleet as it currently stands – my main pride & joy is the “classic restoration” Series 3 109 station wagon;

Which has just come back into action after an expensive/extensive re-wire and tidy-up.

And we also have a 127 “campbulance”:

I’ve been Land Rovering for long enough to know better I’ve done some light overlanding, marshalling & recovery with Shire LRC, and the ambulance has been as far as the arctic circle although it was in summer & on tarmac!

Living in Basingstoke, working near Andover doing embedded software & electronics.

You will need to get signed up on the first Aid and water awareness courses first…

I’m fairly sure that Tim, Nick and Axel will also be doing another off road recovery day as well fairly soon.
