Can anyone recommend a supplier for towing straps? And what is a good length for use?

Thanks in advance for any response.

I got mine on eBay, lots on there, I got a recovery kit which was good enough for the club and it cost me about 60 quid

            Hi John,

If you are towing another vehicle on the road……….

there is no minimum rope length, if the rope is longer than 1.5 metres if must have a s sign in the middle to make it more obvious, it must no longer than 4.5 metre …. to the bets of my knowledge.

            For off road use…………..

there is lots of kit out there & it is a bewildering minefield.

personally I would go to a reputable source for this type of kit and be guided by them as to what suits your need.

There is a lot of rubbish on ebay if you don’t know what you are looking for.

I personally prefer straps to ropes. I think they are easier to clean, to dry, to store & to spot damage. BTW never Jet Was a rope or strap.

if you would like further info it would be much better to chat.

            Regards Nick Jennings HR 021
